Fall Out Boy has been dancing awfully close and crossing over into more than just a Top 40 rock band, and the newest video for "Champion" shows just that.

With a collaboration of actors including Josh Brener (Silicon Valley),  Timothy Granaderos (13 Reasons Why), Ashley Iaconetti (The Bachelor), and Jaden Smith (The Get Down), the press release for the band states the videos intent of "characters embodying the song’s shared anthemic and defiant message in their own personal situations."

Pete Wentz also is quoted saying that “I can’t think of a worse drug than fake reality…we create and can be whoever we want, yet our choices often leave us lonely and unfulfilled."

With how many stars have spoken out against a "fake reality," or social media addictions/fabrications, it's safe to say it's a current topic of interest.

The beat in the song is a lot more hip hop-esque, and the video shows the inner struggles of each character rolling through Virtual Reality, visiting different walks of life.

The Press Release notes that Jaden Smith and blackbear will be opening up for Fall Out Boy's 2017 Fall Tour, on the dates below:
