Before arriving in Florida, Hurricane Irma regained strength and has been upgraded to a Category 4 Hurricane.
According to the National Hurricane Center, the storm has produced winds up to 82 mph -- with conditions expected to get worse.
Earlier this morning, a civil emergency was declared in Collier County, and emergency crews were ordered off of the roadways. Schools in the county will be closed between 9/11 - 9/15.
In other parts of Florida, a tweet posted on the Good Morning America Twitter account shows the Florida Keys under water.
As the Hurricane continues to travel through Florida winds may die down, but a storm surge will follow. As a result, you should remain indoors until officials say it's safe to go outdoors.
