Snapchat is trying to save their business.

ICYMI, Snapchat endured a debacle after a post was approved asking if one would rather “punch Chris Brown or slap Rihanna.”

Rihanna made a statement about it saying that she is not taking it personally but she is disappointed due to the fact that victims of DV across the world could be affected.

The social media app has now added a group video chat feature to the platform in hopes to keep users engaged.

According to The Daily Dot, the new feature is an attempt to gain users back from Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp.

The feature will allow you to have up to 16 people in a single chat and allow you to use both filters and effects during the chat as well. To put that into perspective, Facebook only lets you engage up to six total users in one video chat.

Will a revamped video chat feature keep you using Snapchat?
