Demi Lovato ‘Stable’ After Being Hospitalized for Heroin Overdose

Demi Lovato was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday. According to TMZ, law enforcement says that she's suffering what appears to be a heroin overdose. 

Demi Lovato, who most recently came out to fans that she had relapsed on her drug use. According to TMZ, she was treated with Narcan, a medication to reverse effects of narcotic overdose.

In a recent update, she is currently "Okay and stable."

Lovato has lived in a sober home after she'd been sober 6 years for cocaine.

She shared that she had fallen off the wagon in a song called "Sober," but it's unclear what exactly was taken and how much.

“LAPD and LAFD responded to a medical emergency at the 8000 block of Laurel View Dr. at 11:40 a.m.” the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE. A representative for the Los Angeles Fire Department additionally told PEOPLE they “transported a 25-year-old female patient to a local hospital.”
