Library Loans Out Ties, Jackets & More For Job Interviews
A New York library is helping their community dress for success.
The “Grow Up Work Fashion Library,” program allows patrons to rent out ties and suit jackets, handbags, and briefcases. The goal of the program is to help folks who are short on cash or other resources to find clothing for job interviews or any other nice event. Michelle Lee, a young librarian who worked with a lot of teens during her time at the library, found that a lot of them didn’t know what to wear or didn’t have the resources to get nice clothing so she proposed the program last year and it has taken off. What is the craziest interview question you have ever received? What is appropriate interview attire in 2018?
