Poor Maroon 5.
All they want to do is entertain America at the Super Bowl this February and fans have turned their backs on them. A petition at Change.org is demanding Adam Levine and company drop out of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium Halftime performance, as Rihanna and P!nk have already done, citing the NFL's treatment of Colin Kaepernick. Nearly 40,000 have signed on to Vic Oyedeji's petition so far, which he hopes will reach 50k. According to Oyedeji, "The band has a chance to stand on the right side of history."
Do you think Maroon 5 is the right fit for the show? Which other bands would be a good fit if they drop out?
