Ashley claimed that she was shut out of Lord Of The Rings after she denied Weinstein's sexual advancements and sued him under the theory of "sexual harassment in a professional relationship." The judge eventually ruled that the relationship between Judd and Weinstein didn't fall under the law. How's this for an interesting twist? The law was changed in 2018 to cover a relationship like what they had, but the judge said it can't be applied retroactively.
