Seth Meyers Under Fire for “Late Night” Tweet
Seth Meyers is under fire for a tweet that was posted on his “Late Night with Seth Meyers”
Twitter account that allegedly mocks victims murdered by illegal immigrants. The tweet was a response to the reference about California police officer Ronil Singh being killed by an illegal immigrant named Gustavo Pedro Arriaga last month.
After the reference, the “Late Night” twitter account posted, “Is this Oval Office: SVU?” Fans quickly commented their displeasure for the tweet, and a comment about the tweet hasn’t been made by Meyers or a rep from the show.
Did you think the tweet went too far? Should the person who sent the tweet be fired?
Is this Oval Office: SVU?

And then Megyn chimed in:
I’m sure that’s hysterical to the families of the murder victims the president just discussed. https://t.co/XOOWeWZMSp

I’ve always enjoyed your humor but this is offensive. Fine if you don’t want the wall but please don’t make jokes about victims & their families. No one deserves to die and if they do, we can honor their memories. You’re nothing short of a disgrace for forgetting that.
