The 24th Annual Critic's Choice Awards, hosted by Taye Diggs, came with some big awards and a few surprises.

The Netflix film Roma was the big winner last night at the Critics' Choice Awards taking home awards in the best picture, director, cinematography, and foreign-language film. Black Panther and Vice picked up three awards each and Christian Bale picked up two awards for his portrayal of Dick Chaney in the film as well.  The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and The Americans picked up awards for TV.

To the amazement of viewers, there were ties in two categories:  Best Actress and Best Actress in a Limited Series.  Lady Gaga and Glenn Close tied for Best actress and revealed that Close is good friends with Gaga's mother. Amy Adams and Patricia Arquette tied for Best Actress in a Limited Series and gave their speeches together.

This may be a prequel to who will pick up an Oscar, as organizers boast that this show is "the most accurate predictor" of the Oscar nominations.

Did you catch the Critics' Choice Awards last night? Do you think there's a movie or tv show that's not getting the recognition that it deserves?
