In case you’re not in tune with the world of EDM, there’s beef that’s getting a lot of attention.
Apashe called out Calvin Harris for copying his video for “Giant” Harris received backlash from @TenGraphs who called Harris a “complete douche” and advised that he “grow a pair and take accountability.” Harris then fired a tweet back that was seen as insensitive and disrespectful to the genre tweeting, “Away back to your nazi headbanger music you wee pleb” When people started coming for Calvin he clarified his tweet saying he wasn’t talking about the dubstep genre he was addressing an “abusive guy.” Marshmello came to Harris’ defense reminding everyone that Harris put dance music on the map and that people are just “reaching for 2 seconds of spotlight.”
