There has been a detail in the Leaving Neverland documentary that is being debunked.
The alleged victim, James Safechuck centered his abuse around Jackson’s Neverland train station, but Jackson biographer, Mike Smallcombe says that Safechuck’s timeline of abuse doesn’t match with the train stations construction. Safechuck claims he was abused from 1988 to 1992 but the train station wasn’t built until 1993. "Yeah, there seems to be no doubt about the station date. The date they have wrong is the end of the abuse," tweeted Dan Reed, the documentary director. Smallcombe countered Reed’s tweet saying "Suddenly the end of Safechuck’s abuse was when he was 16/17 rather than 14, this is what happens when you don’t investigate properly."
Does this change how you feel about Safechuck’s story?
