There’s exciting news for the Beyhive.

Beyoncé’s Netflix special, Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé received six Emmy award nominations, on Tuesday.

The film, directed by the mega pop star and Ed Burke, which documents her 2018 Coachella headlining performance is up for Oustanding Variety Special (pre-recorded) and more.

The highly popular documentary also received nominations in the categories for Outstanding Music Direction, Outstanding Directing, Outstanding Writing, Outstanding Production Design, and Outstanding Costumes For Variety.

Back in April, Homecoming premiered on Netlflix and sent the Beyhive into a frenzy. The film was released alongside a coinciding live album.

On Sunday, September 22, the 2019 Emmy Awards will be held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Earlier today, the “I Been On” singer revealed the tracklist for her new Lion King-inspired album The Lion King: The Gift, which drops this Friday.
