You might want to think long and hard before ordering food to be delivered to your home again.

According to People, US Foods has revealed that delivery drivers may be sampling your food before they bring it to you.

The company surveyed Americans who have used food delivery apps, and those who previously worked for food delivery companies. “Perhaps the most shocking result of the survey – and the one that has many squirming – is that 28% of the delivery drivers sampled admitted to taking food from an order they were delivering.”

Although these result came from a small sample (1,518 American adults), it is a good indication of what is going on when people use apps like Grubhub, DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Postmates.

Also worth mentioning is that during this survey, 60 percent of the delivery drivers were irritated because they received a bad tip or no tip at all.
