One Florida mom had the scare of her life when she accidentally locks her baby inside her car in the blistering Florida heat. To make matters worse, her OnStar account was turned off so she couldn’t remotely open the car door. According to OnStar, once an account expires or is canceled, the system is deactivated and the connection to the vehicle is removed.

Minutes later  the mother’s 10-month-old daughter’s situation became even more dangerous as the car automatically cut the engine turning the AC off inside the cabin. With temperatures rising and the mother becoming more desperate, extreme measures were taken, and the window was finally smashed by police freeing the child.
