Deputy Robert Pounds, a Collier County sheriff’s deputy, is being called a hero after making a routine traffic stop. Pounds saw a car going 15 mph over the speed limit and pulled the driver over.

However, the driver of the car had a good excuse for speeding, telling the deputy,  “Officer, you have the right to stop me, I’m not gonna even lie, We have a baby coming out.”

Pounds immediately called for backup and an ambulance,  slapped on some latex gloves, and got to work.

The officer then delivered a healthy baby girl!
