New “Voice” Coach Nick Jonas Responds To Blake Shelton Dragging Him Over His Age Nicki Jonas broke the news that he will be the new judge on The Voice during his recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“I have a whole plan for tomorrow,” he told Ellen when she put him on the spot, to which she replied. “I’m going to ruin it then.”
Can you guess which coach is our favorite?
Ellen then played a series of videos where Nick’s new co-workers greeted him, Blake Shelton however, decided to drag Nick over his age saying, “I heard you’re going to be a new coach on The Voice and I wanted to say congratulations, I guess. But second of all, voice some concerns that I have. I have to look through the rules because this is my TV show. I’m not sure that you’re even old enough to be a coach on The Voice, but I’m certain that you’re going to get your butt kicked.”
Nick was ready for the jab and came back at Blake saying, “As weird as it is, Blake, that I’m so young. It’s exciting to now have a 20-year career.” Kelly Clarkson and John Legend are on Nick’s side, during their videos they asked Jonas about forming an alliance in order to beat out Shelton.
