Katy Perry fans all over the world are patiently waiting for the release of “Harleys in Hawaii.” The singer has been teasing the new single on Instagram with the artwork and clips from the video. The artwork shows Katy on a motorcycle in a retro, floral one-piece.
According to Paper, the inspiration behind the song comes from a time when she and husband Orlando Bloom were actually in Hawaii on vacation. Katy explained, “We rented a Harley because we were just there for a few days.. You know, be on the back of a motorcycle in Hawaii and just be let the air flow on your face. It’s so beautiful. It was awesome.” She also added, “But I can remember specifically where I was, the street corner I was at in Oahu and turning that corner and whispering to Orlando, going ‘I’m going to write a song called ‘Harleys in Hawaii.'”
