Taylor Swift will receive a huge honor from Billboard for their upcoming 2019 Women in Music event. The singer will be named Woman of the Decade.

Billboard calls Taylor “one of the most accomplished musical artists of all time over the course of the 2010s.” They also say, “Swift has landed countless professional achievements, including five No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 this decade, five No. 1 singles on the Billboard 100 chart, three worldwide stadium tours and two Billboard Woman of the Year Awards. The singer-songwriter is also being honored for her commitment to protecting creative rights, music education, literacy programs, cancer research, disaster relief and the Time’s Up initiative.”

Overall, this event will celebrate some of the most powerful female artists and executives in the industry. Also being honored will be Nicki Minaj with the Game Changer Award, Alanis Morissette with the Icon Award, and Brandi Carlile with a Trailblazer award.

The 2019 Women in Music Event will be on December 12, and it will stream on YouTube.
