Kelis Announces New Netflix Show ‘Cooked with Cannabis’

"I'm really excited to announce my new show, Cooked With Cannabis on [Netflix]!," Kelis tweeted. "As a chef, I was intrigued by the food + as an everyday person, I was interested in how powerful this topic is in today's society."
"I hope you all will tune in, it'll be a good time!," Kelis continued. "We launch on 4/20!"
In Kelis' announcement, she shared a photograph of her celebratory nails that were painted a bright red with one hand spelling out "Netflix" with a marijuana leaf on her pinky finger and "&" on her thumb, while the other hand spelled out "Chill."
"I’ve been cooking all of my life. I think as we get older we start to focus on what brings us joy, " Kelis told Ebony in 2015 after she launched her sauce line Bounty & Full. "Cooking has always been at the top of my list." "I love food, flavors and creating," the Le Cordon Bleu alumna added.
The "Good Stuff" singer also has a cookbook, Recipes From Around The World: My Life On a Plate, that she launched the same year as her sauce line that has flavors such as "Cranberry Mandarin Jam," "Pineapple Saffron," and "Wild Cherry BBQ."
