Coronavirus in Southwest Florida: The latest info, helpful resources

All restaurants and food establishments in Florida are now required to be take-out or delivery only per an executive order issued by Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Food establishments are allowed to operate their kitchen, but dining rooms must be closed effective immediately until Friday, May 8, according to NBC2.

The governor signed an executive order Friday afternoon to combat the spread of the coronavirus. Restaurants can still sell alcohol for pick-up and delivery orders, however, customers must provide proof of identification.

The order also forces all gym and fitness centers to close, according to WPTV. The only exceptions are fitness centers in residential buildings, gyms that have a maximum capacity of 10 people or less in hotels, fitness centers in fire and police stations, and those in single-occupant office buildings.
