The Dr. who bent former President Barack Obama's ear says he thinks fan attended sporting events and other large gatherings will be put on hold until a vaccine is ready. That could still take 12-18 months.

As part of a New York Times panel, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel (brother of former Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel) says the US economic reawakening would need to come in steps.

First, with businesses that can still maintain some level of social distancing - something you can't do in a packed arena or stadium.

Dr. Ezekiel says pro sports teams might be playing in near silence until Fall 2021.

Without the money generated by butts in the seats, is still financially worth it to even play the seasons? What about concerts, could we see a resurgence in small venues? More following for local artists?
