Former ‘The Chi’ Star Jason Mitchell Arrested in Mississippi On Drug and Weapon Charges

Former The Chi star Jason Mitchell was arrested on Wednesday (Apr. 22), in Mississippi on felony weapons and drug charges, as TMZ reported. Mitchell was booked at Harrison County Jail and the actor is facing four felony charges, according to digital records.
Mitchell, who also portrayed Eazy-E in NWA’s highly lauded biopic Straight Outta Compton, faces two felony charges for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, in addition to two more felony charges for possession of a weapon by a felon. According to jail records, Mitchell was caught with two guns, including a Glock 19 pistol as well as a mini Draco AK47 semi-automatic pistol. This story is currently developing.
