Speedway declares race a ‘protest’ to get around governor’s coronavirus rules

Ace Speedway in North Carolina found a way to get around the Coronavirus rules.  The governor’s office had warned them that any event with more than 25 people in attendance would be against the Phase 2 rules.

There was a sign outside the speedway that said, “This Event is held in Peaceful Protest of Injustice and Inequality Everywhere.”

It was reported that there were more than 2,000 people in attendance.
