The Cattyshack Cat Cafe opened its doors offering up some drinks and snacks and a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else in Southwest Florida, according to NBC2. “We want a place that just kind of blows people’s minds,” the Co-Owner of Cattyshack Cafe Amber Redfern said. Playing off of the 1980 film Caddyshack the cafe offers a unique chance to indulge in an assortment of delicious snacks and drinks with adoptable cats and kittens just a room away in a fun environment. The rooms are separated by glass windows as well as a staging area where the rules will be explained and the air is cycled so that if anyone comes into the cafe that is allergic to cats they can still enjoy the food and drinks. The entry fee into the “mulligan room” is $15 for a 50-minute reservation. This allows the staff to clean and properly sanitize the room and allows the cats to de-stress for 10 minutes.
