Two people who were involved in a high speed chase with state troopers  jumped off the Howard Frankland Bridge into Tampa Bay yesterday.

Florida highway patrol attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle that was traveling at speeds over 120 mph.  Their vehicle crashed  into others on the bridge, and the two people who were in the car jumped off of the bridge into the bay (not advised).

One suspect was found and pulled form the water, the second was found dead. The suspect who was pulled alive from the water is at the hospital being treated for serious injuries.

A “large amount” of cash and drugs were found inside their wrecked vehicle.
