The X-Files: Albuquerque Will Be An Animated Comedy Spinoff

If you grew up watching The X-Files then you will be happy to know that it's coming back, kinda.

According to Deadline, Fox is developing The X-Files: Albuquerque but no word yet on if Mulder and Scully will return. Instead it's going to focus on a "B-team," of misfit agents who investigate some wacky cases. The X-Files creator Chris Carter and Gabe Rotter will be exec producers.

There's no word on release date yet but we're looking forward to seeing how this new spinoff plays out and can only imagine how weird and funny it's going to be.
