Tampa Woman Arrested After Making 42K Fraudulent Amazon Returns
A Tampa woman used dozens of Amazon accounts and made thousands of returns to get more than $100,000. According to reports 32 year old Hoai Timba is charged with second-degree grand theft. Hillsborough Sheriffs department says she admitted to the crime. She is being accused of reusing prepaid shipping labels generated for canceled orders and applying them on other returns. Authorities say that she was making it seem like she paid for her own shipping cost on the returns when she didn’t. She has been doing this since 2015. She was arrested without incident.
