During “The Voice” results show on Tuesday night (Dec 1st) Team Gwen’s Carter Rubin was saved by the audience who had given the singer the most votes, however, Gwen was able to choose another contestant to move on to next week’s live rounds.
Gwen chose Estero resident Ben Allen, who she said would be a “dream to work with,” after she stole him from Blake Shelton during the knockout round.
Allen, who won hearts after his covers of songs from Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, and Luke Combs, will return to The Voice stage on Monday, December 7th, thanks to Gwen.
