UPS Driver In Ocala Florida Fired For Spitting On Customer’s Package

So this went down last week at the residence of Ann Patton in Ocala.
A UPS driver was sent to Patton’s home for a pickup. The package was not at the front door ready to be picked up. In the video you can see the UPS driver pick up a package that had been delivered previously and that’s where the story deviates.
Ms. Patton thinks the driver spit on her package before putting it back. UPS thinks that the driver blew on the label to clean it off so he could apply a new label and when he realized it was not the package he was looking for he simply left.

UPS has fired the driver, it’s unclear if the Patton’s will be seeking additional damages.
