20 Golden Retrievers From China Are Now In Miami After A Rescue Group Saved Them From Being Butchered As Food

That’s right. They eat Goldens in China. The most loveable, friendly, dog I’ve ever known.

According to Golden Rescue South Florida these dogs were neglected or abused and were likely to end up in a market to be butchered and eaten. GRSF says it costs at least $2,600 per dog to bring them here.

The dogs arrived in Miami Sunday morning on China Air and already have new homes with local families.
