US Health Officials have announced that anyone flying to the United States will soon have to prove that they are free of the COVID buy presenting a negative test. This new directive becomes effective in 2 weeks.
According to Local 10 Miami, The order from the Center For Disease Control applies to foreign travelers and US citizens. It goes into effect on January 26th.
As a traveler, you'll need to get a COVID-19 test within three days of your flight to the U.S., and show written proof of the test result to the airline. A second option would be to show proof that you already had the 'rona and got better.
If you cannot provide proof, airlines have been instructed to prevent you from boarding the plane.
