The WrestleMania that billed the "once in a lifetime" match between The Rock and John Cena saw 1,217,000 PPV buys, which is the most PPV buys for a single WrestleMania ever. Of course, that “once in a lifetime” tag wasn’t exactly true, and The Rock vs. John Cena would headline WrestleMania 29.

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) announced it would relocate its WrestleMania 37 event from Los Angeles to Tampa Bay, according to Pop Culture.

WrestleMania 37 was originally scheduled for March 27, but California still has strict restrictions about public gatherings and attendance at sporting events.

The event will now take place on Saturday, April 10, and Sunday, April 11 at Raymond James Stadium to provide fans with the opportunity to watch the wrestlers in person.

“Florida is excited to welcome back WrestleMania to Tampa in April at Raymond James Stadium,” Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said in a statement, per the New York Post.
