The Weeknd kicked off Super Bowl week with his Postmates partnership teaming up with a Tampa Bay Black-owned restaurant to donate meals to healthcare workers.

Mama's Southern Soul Food donated 150 meals with the help of The Weeknd and Postmates to healthcare workers at AdventHealth Carrollwood.

Postmates will revive the front page of their app which promoted Black-owned restaurants during the Summer for the Black Lives Matter movement, in celebration of Black History Month.

His partnership also comes days before his performance during the Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime show. By choosing Mama's Southern Soul Food, the artist is giving back to the Tampa community which will host the big game.
