We love a feel good story especially when it’s here in SW Florida! We got an update on rescue dog Deputy Chance!
According to NBC 2, Deputy Chance was adopted by the Lee County Sherriff’s Office two years ago. He was a dog that was found in bad shape in Lehigh Acres back in 2019 by Sherriff Carmine Marceno. He made Chance’s case a launching point for the agency’s Animal Cruelty Task Force. They have teamed up with other agencies like the Domestic Animal Services where they investigate and solve animal cruelty cases. Deputy Chance now lives with his handler Sgt. Rich Castellon.
We love that Deputy Chance is doing well and helping other dogs! We hope to meet him one day!
