Everglazed Donuts for the win!

If there is anything in this world that makes me jump up for joy, it’s doughnuts. Especially gourmet creations!

I consider myself a dedicated foodie who is always on the search for savory new restaurants in Florida. I visit Orlando quite often (being a Disney fan and all) but knew I had to make a dedicated trip to the new Everglazed Donuts in Disney Springs.

The cute little shop located on the West Side of Disney Springs next to Splitsville offers an assortment of fresh hand-crafted confections, cold brew pick-me-ups, and a few delicious sandwiches. Everything is made from scratch daily in limited quantities, so you have to get them before they’re gone.

I went around 12 p.m. craving something sweet and something salty… I was not disappointed.

I was told the wait would be about 30 minutes but the great thing is you can sign up for the virtual line so you can walk around and come back when they’re ready for you.

I ordered the Fruity Pebbles donut from “The New Classics” portion of the menu which is priced at $4.50. Of course, this is a tad pricer than what you would find at your local doughnut shop, but I found it worth it! I was worried this treat would be too sweet or that the fruity pebbles on top would get soggy… but I was proved wrong.

If you loved this cereal as a kid, then you’re going to LOVE this doughnut so much.

We also ordered the Breakfast Sammie for $10 which includes two eggs, American cheese, and your choice of bacon or sausage. And the Funky Chicken for $13 which has fried chicken, ranch slaw, BBQ, spicy mayo, and B&B pickles.

All of the sammies are served on a sweet bun, which is what made these sandwiches so special. You can also substitute a bun for a griddled glazed donut for $1.

Last but not least, we had the Spicy Fries! These waffle fries are topped with Buffalo seasoning, scallions, and spicy mayo for $6. The mayo was a little too spicy for me, but I asked for sour cream on the side which toned down the kick and it made it even better.

If you’re looking to fulfill your sweet tooth or want Instagram-worthy photos, I highly recommend this place! I can’t wait to go back and try out more from The funky Bunch portion of the menu and the cold brews!
