Palm Beach Shark Attack On College Student

A lot of college kids are on Spring Break and last week there was a shark attack in Palm Beach. Which is definitely close to home.

According to NBC 2, a college kid that is from Naples was enjoying his spring break with friends in Palm Beach last week when he was bitten by a shark. His name is Bryce Albert and he is 20 years old and he was in the water by the pier when the shark bit his arm. After undergoing surgery, doctors were able to save his arm. It is believed that he was bitten by a 6-foot blacktip shark.

I have been in SW Florida for over a year now and still have yet to see a shark. But glad that the college kid was ok as well as the shark.
