Utah Law Requires Dads To Pay Half Of Pregnancy Costs

A new state law in Utah requires that half of a woman's pregnancy costs be covered by the father. Under the bill, the biological father is on the hook for out-of-pocket expenses including health insurance premiums and other medical costs.   Utah is the first state in the U.S. to require prenatal child support on this level.
