A Fossil Hunter In Florida Finds Dire Wolf Teeth
Well this isn’t something you find everyday lol! But it’s definitely pretty kool to find this fossil right here in Florida.
According to NBC 2, an amateur fossil hunter named Michael Stab found a pair of canine teeth from an extinct Pleistocene Predator. Experts even believe that the teeth could belong to a extinct dire wolf, maybe a bear or even a jaguar. And it’s hard to believe but about 12 thousand years ago the distant cousin to modern canines use to call Florida home.
Wooow! That’s so kool! I would love to find any kind of fossil! I wonder what other fossils are lying among us here in Florida. I guess time will tell.
