Well this is all we need right now, smh. Mosquitos in Collier County have been found with the West Nile Virus.
According to NBC 2, Mosquito control experts found last month that mosquitoes in Naples, Ave Maria, Immokalee and The Golden Gate Estates had West Nile Virus. Fast forward, in those same areas the mosquitoes are still testing positive with the virus, which means viral activity is increasing in the area. So the Collier Mosquito Control District's operations and science teams are planning treatment.
It sounds like they are trying to get it under control. Stay safe out there.
