Fort Myers Student Invents Edible Water Bottle
Ya know, all those water bottles we use every day add up to a lot of waste. In fact, according to NBC2, almost a half a trillion bottles help fill landfills across the planet every year.
Eventually, we as a society are going to have to come up with ways to reduce the amount of waste produced by these bottles.
That’s exactly what Elle Frey of Fort Myers did. She invented an edible water bottle. Its pretty cool too. It looks kind of like a giant Japanese Boba ball. Her edible water bottle even caught international attention at the Henry Ford Invention Convention!
Who knows? Maybe soon we’ll be eating our water and saving the planet in the process.
Way to go Elle!
