Britney Spears Seemingly Married Sam Asghari, Calls Him ‘Husband’

Britney Spears fans are freaking out that she referred to boyfriend of 6 years, Sam Asghari, as her “husband” on social media. The singer, 40, has been dating the 28-year-old Iranian model and personal trainer since 2016, and announced their engagement last year before her 13-year conservatorship ended.

In an Instagram post shared yesterday (March 3), Britney wrote, “My husband @samasghari sent me this and said:

100 baby turtles leave the hatch 🐣 only 20 make it to reefs because most get eaten by sharks 🦈 only 1 strong strong Turtle 🐢 makes it out of 100 and comes back a year later stronger than ever and hatches babies 👶 He said these turtles represented life ♥️ !!!!!”

One fan wrote, “Did someone say HUSBAND? 😍😍😍😍,” while another said, “This is Britney telling she is married 😍.” One person commented, “We went from fiancé to husband real fast! Did it just happen? 🙏🏼”

Earlier in the day, Britney posted a romantic sunset picture of the happy couple, captioning the photo, “Happy Birthday 🎊🎁 to my Fiancé … I love you so much ❤️ … I want a family with you … I want it all with you !!!!”

Asghari sweetly replied, “Millions of things to wish for ❤️ I only have one wish 😍”
