Robbers Force Immokalee Man to Dance in Woman’s Dress.
After reportedly robbing a guy of $3,000, beating him, and making him dance while being recorded in a woman’s outfit, three suspects have been detained.
According to a report by NBC-2, The victim was kidnapped and thrown into an SUV by two male suspects as he walked home on N. 3rd St. near 2nd Ave. on August 9.
The Assault:
The victim went through quite an ordeal, saying that he was beaten, pistol-whipped, and even slashed with a knife while they were driving around in the SUV. The man was finally brought to the residence of a man identified as Noah Navarro.
While at the home the victim was attacked, robbed, and stripped. The victim was then assaulted by a lady, later identified as 37-year-old Betsy Dejesus, who also threatened to murder him. At gunpoint, she coerced the male into donning a woman’s attire as she recorded the encounter. Now here is where it gets even scarier…
Cold-Blooded:
The victim overheard the group saying at one point that they needed to get rid of him before he passed away inside the house! That’s some cold-blooded stuff right there.
The Escape:
The man was reportedly thrown along the side of an unknown road in Glades County after the suspects pushed him back into the SUV following the beating. The suspects attempted to attack the man again, but he escaped and rushed to a neighboring church, where he dialed 911. When a car started to move in their direction, the suspects fled the area.
The victim, who had significant face swelling, was transported by air to St. Mary’s Hospital in West Palm Beach, according to CCSO. Dejesus allegedly organized the robbery while also paying $300 to have it carried out, and it was later discovered that the public was viewing a video of the robbery.
