Being a mom of a rescue pup, I’m so excited to partner with Big Hearts for Big Dogs to feature an adoptable dog each week, and our Big Heart of the Week is Tito!

You may remember that we featured Tito a few weeks ago, but this babe is still looking for a home. Tito is a 5 year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback & Hound mix who is 80 pounds of love! As soon as I laid eyes on Tito I fell in love with this big, sweet boy. He loves everyone he meets, is house broken, crate trained and super eager to learn. He’s good with children, but would prefer a home without cats. A perfect day for Tito consists of eating some good food, going for a walk, telling him how handsome he is and of course cuddles. Tito is fixed, chipped, up to date on vaccinations and prevention.

Big Hearts for Big Dogs started by a small group of individuals who saw a desperate need for advocates of larger breed dogs. Smaller dogs are adopted faster and rescued more often. There is always a need for more fosters, and if you’re interested, you can reach out to

The rescue is also run solely on donations. If you’d like to make a cash donation, click here. Or you can view their Amazon wishlist here.

4 SWFL Dog Beaches Make List Of Best In Florida's Gulf Coast

One of my favorite things to do at the beach is to watch the dogs playing in the water. Thankfully we live in a place where there’s plenty of places we can bring our pups and 4 SWFL dog beaches made the list of the best in Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Between having the most room for dogs to run off-leash, shallow water for dogs to play in, and amenities like bathrooms, grills and pavilions, there are plenty of factors that go into what makes a dog beach the very best.
