Lee County Man Arrested for Stealing Roommate’s Hookah
Lee County Man Arrested for Stealing Roommate’s Hookah.
After breaking into a room inside his home (His parent’s house actually) and allegedly stealing a hookah from his roommate, a man was detained by Lee County deputies, after the roommate, Monica, dialed 911 on Saturday night. His name is Tyler Wesley and he’s 19 years old. He was seen on surveillance camera leaving Monica’s room, which police say was because he was stealing her hookah water pipe.
Monica had been staying at the home after being invited to stay on the parent’s behalf. That welcome had run out. According to Tyler’s Mom, long before Monica had her son arrested. According to an interview Tyler’s mom gave to NBC2, Monica was the sister of a former friend. She paid rent for 2 months but then stopped paying. The tension had been HIGH at the home leading up to Tyler’s arrest.
Now Tyler isn’t allowed in his own parent’s home, which his mom says is making life very difficult. Mom also says that her husband’s beloved speaker is missing from the home as well. Hmm… Missing Speaker and a hookah? Sounds like somebody is planning a party!
Although Mom and Dad want Monica to go, they must formally evict her in order to do so.
