Someone on Instagram shared a video showing how to thoroughly clean your toilet seat. Are you ready?

Simply unscrew it from the bowl and place it in the DISHWASHER. Umm… Say Whaaat?!
As you might guess, the majority of those who have commented on the idea of placing your butt seat in the dishwasher with all the things you EAT OFF OF…Well, they seem to think it’s disgusting. However, a small portion of the internet thinks it’s brilliant. They think that there may be some benefits to doing this.
The Pros:
According to the NY Post, the main benefits are as follows: Every nook and cranny is cleaned, especially if your dishwasher has a “sanitize” setting that heats the water to a high temperature.
The Cons:
The main disadvantages are as follows: Your butt goes there. I mean, couldn’t leftover POO PARTICLES end up on your dishes?GROSS!!! They put it in WITH their dishes in the video, not on its own.
Some people pointed out that, in terms of bacteria, toilet seats aren’t all that bad when compared to things like doorknobs or your phone. Well, I’m not putting those in my dishwasher either.
