Airline Employees Babysit Tampa College Student's Beloved Fish.

When a passenger's fish was prohibited from flying with her, a couple of awesome Southwest Airlines staff members took it upon themselves to care for it for four whole months!

The story first appeared on Twitter when the airline said that a traveler named Kira, who just finished her first year of college, was informed that she would be unable to bring her pet fish Theo on the plane.

Fish Tale:

According to a Business insider, Kira was about to miss her flight because of her beloved fish. Enter a hero. A customer service representative by the name of Ismael promised to take care of the fish for Kira so she could board the flight. Ismael was even kind enough to get Theo a bigger fish bowl to hang out inside of too.

Recently our hero Ismael met up with Kira in Tampa before she was going to start her sophomore year of college. After caring for the Beta fish for the last 4 months with his fiance Jamee, who is also employed by Southwest, the couple then handed back Theo the fish to the college student.

I love a happy ending.

Happy Fish:
