You Get A Free Busch Gardens Ticket When Buccaneers Score 21 Points Or More
There’s more than one way to celebrate yesterday’s Buccaneers win because you also get a free Busch Gardens ticket! Yesterday, Tom Brady threw for 351 yards which helped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers end a two-game losing streak with a 21-15 victory over the Falcons. Thanks to Kane’s furniture store, when the Buccaneers score 21 points or more you’ll get a free Busch Gardens ticket. And the best part is there’s no purchase necessary.
Here’s what you need to do to redeem your free ticket. First, make sure the Bucs score 21 points or more at home games or away, then you’ll have three calendar days to go to any participating Kane’s furniture store. You must be 18 years of age or older and present your valid drivers license and they’ll give you a free Busch Gardens ticket! I checked with the main office. Kane’s Fort Myers location took some damage and is temporarily closed. The Kane’s Port Charlotte, and the Kane’s Naples location ARE open and are participating in this promotion.
“A Kane’s associate will enter your information at the store. You will need to present your driver’s license in order to receive your 1 Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay ticket. No replacements will be provided for lost/stolen/unused tickets. Recipient must be present to receive ticket. You cannot bring in the driver’s license of another individual to receive a ticket.”

Hurricane Ian Event Cancelations
The list of Hurricane Ian event cancelations in Southwest Florida continues to grow.
Many of the sites slated to host events have hurricane damage. Also, many of the organizers have suffered personal losses. It takes a tremendous amount of energy and resources to throw a big bash. Both of these things are in short supply in many instances. Priorities are shifting.
In addition, all eyes are fixed firmly on donating to storm recovery now. Most of the events listed here are fund raisers or have a fund raising element to them. While these organizations depend heavily on their annual events to fund vital programs and operations, their needs are also shifting following the storm.
Ian closed the islands
Take for instance CROW, the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, on Sanibel Island. The annual Taste of the Islands is a much anticipated event every November. At the time we are writing this, there is no word on when the barrier island will be open for business. In the meantime, the clinic is establishing an off island location to continue taking care of injured animals. The show must go on.
And finally, when it comes to attending big events, many Southwest Florida residents are just not ready to get out and celebrate. That time will come and when it does, we will embrace it with both arms. However, most event organizers feel now is still just a little too soon.
The German American Club in Cape Coral is canceling this year’s big Octoberfest party. The grounds were badly damaged by Hurricane Ian.
