SWFL Salutes Our Veterans
This Friday, Veterans Day, join B1039’s Budman and Marija from the Wild Bunch in conjunction with ABC7 as SWFL Salutes Our Veterans
We will team up with Home Base Southwest Florida, a Red Sox Foundation and a SWFL veteran and family care organization that is dedicated to healing the invisible wounds for veterans of all eras in Southwest Florida.
It’s important for us to educate and inform Southwest Florida about all the great services available for the brave men and women who fought for our freedom.
This Veteran’s day tune into ABC 7 and to the Wild Bunch on B1039 as we talk to Generals, Doctors, Representatives from Homebase, and many more.

The Home Base Southwest Florida program treats Veterans, Service Members, and their Families coping with the invisible wounds of war, offering life-changing and life-saving programs and services at no cost to Veterans, Service Members and their families. The clinical program at Lee Health offers a multidisciplinary approach to care and complements Home Base SWFL’s Warrior Health & Fitness Program, which has served as a platform for more than 250 local Veterans to come together, reconnect with other members of the Military community and embark on a path towards long-term wellness. Through the Warrior Health & Fitness Program, physical health goals like losing weight, gaining muscle, eating healthier, and managing pre-existing injuries and health issues are common, but the program also includes mental health and wellness goals.
