A lucky woman from Santa Rosa County just became $1 million richer after scoring a winning Florida Lottery ticket at Publix Supermarket! According to WFLA, Laura Purdy, 62 of Gulf Breeze, claimed her prize at the lottery headquarters in Tallahassee last Friday. Not only that – she also earned the retailer an amazing $2K commission for selling her ticket! Although not quite hitting it big with the game’s massive top-prize of up to 25 MILLION dollars (with odds being 1:21M!), we’d say this still counts as one happy and life changing moment for Ms. Purdy indeed!
