GALLERY: Venezia Renaissance Faire In Bonita Springs
Over the weekend I took a step back in time with a visit to the Venezia Renaissance Faire in Bonita Springs.
I used to go to the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Wisconsin growing up. It’s been years, so I was excited to see a Renaissance Faire so close to home. I’m always looking for an adventure and fun things to do on the weekend and I’m so glad I checked this out! If you missed it, there’s still another weekend of excitement as the festivities continue this Saturday 1/27 and Sunday 1/28.
There’s so much to see from high energy, real life battles, horses and jousting. You’ll also find stages featuring musical performances, comedy acts, magic shows, pyro juggling, and belly dancing. There’s lots of vendors too selling everything from hand-crafted trinkets to delicious turkey legs. Even a petting farm with goats, chickens, ducks, pigs and llamas.
If you’d like to dress up, you’ll fit right in with the cast of characters roaming through the crowd. Don’t be shy – many a lord and lady are happy to chat and take photos.
Overall, the Venezia Renaissance Faire in Bonita Springs is a unique and exciting way to experience the past right here in SWFL. With its lively atmosphere, interesting characters, and hands-on activities, it’s sure to be a day you’ll never forget.
